Participate as a TEAM. This year, the Paradise Ride will support friendly Team Competition.
Fundraising will be the key behind this rivalry. Take hold of the third annual Paradise
Ride Kauai Team Trophy. Here are a few details:

If you haven’t already done so, designate your Team Captain and have him or her create the team and register first. On the on-line registration page highlighted in green click on "Team Captain-Create Your Team" a simple questionnaire will appear. Complete it and click on the registration button to get registered.
Now, all you have to do is tell all of your team members to sign up be sure to register as a team member and start fundraising. Fundraising now becomes two-fold:
- Each team member will fundraise individually asking his or her personal friends and family to donate via their individual fund raising page. This allows each team member to build to their own goals to earn those great incentives as outlined on our “Fund Raising” informational.
- Meanwhile, every team members’ fundraising amounts will be pooled together as a team. The Team that fundraises the most wins.

Q: What if someone wants to make a "blanket" or “Team" donation. Not to just one team member but to the whole team?
A: Blanket Team donations are not accepted online. The donor would have to choose each rider and make the donation separately. It would be acceptable if a check was mailed in to the Malama Pono office. Once received, it would be manually split up and divided as evenly as possible amongst all the team members.

Q: How do we know how much we’ve earned collectively and where we stand among the other Team contestants?
A: Easy. Just navigate your way to the donation page. The same one you sent your donor to via ParadiseRideKauai.com, click on the scroll down list of Team Pages (located in the green band) and check it out.

Q: What if I want to join a team after I’ve registered individually?
A: Not a problem. Simply email Barbara or call her at 246-9577 with the information and your request will be manually done.

Q: What is the deadline to register as a team or team member?
A: August 1, 2012
