Day 1:
North Route

About the Route

One of the many things that makes PRK such an extraordinarily unique and special ride is the incredible beauty of the scenic route that will take you through many parts of Kauai. You’ll experience breathtaking views, revered and culturally significant destinations, and many beautiful areas of Kauai.

There are up to two days of riding; each one different. You can choose to ride a segment of Day 1, a segment of Day 2, segments of each Day 1 and 2, or perhaps the entire ride on both Days. The route has been designed to be challenging but achievable, and the more time you have to train the more likely you will be able to add miles to your goal. No matter what you choose, we have placed rest stops along the route that are stocked with everything to keep you going (food, water, energy bars, and other basic necessities), restrooms, all staffed by our incredible rest stop volunteers. The entire route is supported by our Support and Gear Vehicle Volunteers (“SAGs”), bike mechanics, medical assistants, and our PRK route angels who provide additional awareness for you and others sharing the route and guiding you along the way. You will also find signs placed throughout the route to guide you along to your next destination whether that’s to the next rest stop or your chosen finish point.
